I  have been practising Hot Yoga with Lisa for about 8 months now and I am fitter, stronger, slimmer and more toned than ever before.  The holistic approach to exercise that hot yoga encapsulates means that, for me, it is better than any other workout.  With Lisa's instruction, the heat will help bend your body into postures you never thought possible, and when you relax afterwards your body feels fantastic.   Thanks Lisa for bringing us this fabulous mind, cardio, strength and flexibility workout! jacqueline Kelly

Having suffered from the pain of knee injuries and a slipped disc (at the tender age of 21!) I knew I had to do something about the overall flexibility and balance of my body. I had always wanted to try yoga and I knew that my muscles felt more supple when truly warmed up, so really it was a no brainier to try Hot Yoga! As one of life's “over thinkers” there is nothing better than hot yoga. For ninety minutes I don’t think about anything other than what I’m doing there and then (and if my mind wonders I fall over). I just love the idea that instead of just working the usual bits of your body, hot yoga gives your internal organs a good work-out too. I was delighted to discover that Hot Yoga had started in Scotland as I have been hearing about it for years from my friends in New Zealand .I have been going to yoga classes with Lisa for three months now and I really feel like this is the absolute best form of exercise anyone can do.  I have suffered from sporting injuries after twenty years of competitive sports and nothing I tried seems to suit me.  Hot yoga is great because it gives you such a great workout without harming your body in fact being the best thing for your body .I didn't realise how much anxiety I was experiencing but now that I have started Hot Yoga I feel So much calmer and healthier. Once again i wish to thank you for an amazing yoga experience. I had never thought that I would be so overwhelmed by some stretching. I felt less tense and had a bit more energy.So much so I walked home afterwards which is a bout a miles walk mostly uphill. It sure has given me determination and energy to get fit. I'd been looking to try yoga for a while and when I heard about Lisa's 'Hot Yoga' class I thought I'd give it a shot. I was an instant convert! I have been participating in the Hot yoga classes for some time now. The changes in my whole being have been fairly dramatic! The stresses of work and life are now more in perspective, my increased energy has enabled me to make other changes that have allowed more time to relax and enjoy the important things in life. It is ironic that I nearly never came back after the first class as it was so hard! However something told me to persevere and now I can’t wait until class time to get on with my practice. There are no sessions where I have not been challenged to go to the limit of my ability, and although tough at the time, the feeling of benefit is tremendous. I would encourage everyone to try this type of yoga, it is a great investment in yourself that makes life in general much more enjoyable. John Doherty
